Terms of Service

These terms apply to all services provided by Kaler Mowing & Yard Solutions (operated by Kaler Mowing Limited, "we", "us"). By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Quotes

   Quotes are free and are based on the information and photos you provide. A quote is valid for 30 days. If the site differs significantly from what was described, for example longer grass, more waste or harder access, we will discuss any change in price with you before we continue.

2. Bookings and access

   Please make sure we can safely access the work area on the booked day. That means unlocked gates, pets secured, and the area clear of toys, hoses and dog droppings. Let us know about anything hidden in the lawn, such as irrigation heads, cables or pipes.

3. Weather and rescheduling

   We may reschedule work because of heavy rain, waterlogged ground or unsafe conditions. We will let you know as early as possible and book you in at the next available time.

4. Cancellations

   Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move a booking. If we arrive and cannot access the property, or the job is cancelled on the day, a call-out fee may apply.

5. Regular services

   Regular mowing and maintenance continues on the agreed schedule until you tell us to stop. You can pause or cancel a regular service at any time by giving us notice before the next visit.

6. Payment

   We will send you an invoice after the work is completed. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice. Regular and commercial clients may be invoiced on a monthly basis by agreement.

7. Green waste and rubbish

   Green waste and rubbish removal is included only where it is stated in your quote. We cannot remove hazardous materials, including asbestos, chemicals, paint or medical waste.

8. Damage and complaints

   We take care on every job. If you are unhappy with our work, or believe something was damaged, please let us know within 48 hours so we can inspect it and put it right. We are not responsible for damage to items that were hidden or not disclosed to us, or for pre-existing damage.

9. Your consumer rights

   Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Where you are acquiring our services for business purposes, the parties agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Website

    The content on this website is for general information. Prices are not displayed because every property is different; all work is quoted individually.

11. Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
